A loft with tv, movies, and games, and a separate playroom/exercise room are some of the special touches. Unusually generous floor plan insures "zones" for different activities - family or friend togetherness can give way to a private time to read or relax with coffee. The fully equipped kitchen is a dream to work in. The serving bar helps in keeping a crowd served with meals and snacks. Beds are comfortable and one of the baths features both a steam shower and a Jacuzzi tub.Three bedrooms and two sleeper sofas create room for 8 to 12. In winter, the fireplace adds an incomparable ambience. Summer will draw you to the wide wrap-around porch with to enjoy our mild/cool evenings. Nakiska Lodge is located 6 miles from Snowshoe Mountain Resort's entrance. Close enough to drive in about 15-20 minutes and far enough to avoid the crowds and severe windy weather "on top".
