2,000 sq foot,  2-story Cabin has 4-bedrooms, 2 full baths, pet-friendly, non-smoking and offers all the conveniences of home plus a few surprises. 

Cabin sits 1 mile off Hwy 64/74A but only 5 miles away from the local attractions including Lake Lure, Chimney Rock Park, large grocery store w/deli and wine, gas, banks, shopping, lakeside dining, golf, horseback riding, gem mining, hardware store, liquor store and post office.

Hendersonville is 25 miles away, and Asheville airport is 35 miles away.  Biltmore estate is 45 miles away.

Cabin is ideal for large gatherings and has ample parking space for 3-4 vehicles, including covered parking.  The property consists of 10 acres, 1 cabin and 1 guest cottage.  Pond is stocked with bream, catfish and bass and fishing equipment is provided.  There is also a fenced turnout pasture, free of charge, if you are traveling with horses. 

Appliances include gas fireplace, central heat/air, ceiling fans, satellite TV, telephone with unlimited long distance, Gas BBQ and grilling area, music and reading library, and a basic stocked pantry.  All linens, first aid and toiletries available at no charge. 

Master bedroom - downstairs with Queen adjustable bed and cedar lined closets and private access to bathroom

Second guest room - downstairs with antique Full sized bed and extra fainting couch as single bed.  Furnished in dark oak antique furniture and white lace vintage clothing and decor.

Upstairs guest room with 2 twin beds decorated in lilacs and mint greens.

Large eat-in kitchen seats 4.  Dining area seats 6.  Comfortable leather furnishings in living room seat 6. 

A walk out onto the covered screen porch overlooks pond and pasture and waterfall and binoculars provided to watch the many types of birds and wildlife that visit the 10 acre-property.  Birdseed, duck food, fish food and squirrel food are all provided for guests to feed our friends.  Doggie door on porch.  Dog Igloo outside.  Well-behaved pets are also allowed inside. 

Additional "Cowboy Cottage" within 100 feet of the Cabin, is set up for  equestrians who need overnight stabling with 2 adjacent horse stalls.  The Cowboy Cottage can be rented out for additional guests to the main Cabin.  Cowboy Cottage is decorated in vintage western theme.  It sleeps 2 and has a fully equipped eat-in kitchen that serves 4, bathroom with shower and living room with satellite TV that seats 6.  Adjacent covered horse stalls equipped with electricity and water and extra straw for bedding.  Cottage living room window looks into horse stalls.

Campfire area outside cottage has seating for 10 and wood is provided.  Running stream is located next to campfire area.     

Horse-shoe driveway makes entry and exit with horse trailer easy.  Plenty of parking for trailer and free access to the fenced, lockable pasture.  Pasture has blue Kentucky fescue and red clover and is insecticide free. 

Cowboy cottage rents for $60/2 nights; horse stalls available for additional charge.  Free use of turnout pasture.&
