Fill the beach wagon with all your needs and enjoy the beautiful Corolla Ocean beach! The Ocean Sands private community is great for leisurely walking or jogging. There is a tennis court within a short walk from the house. A new Rees Jones designed golf course is located on the bayside, visible from the sundeck. There is even a lake, only a short walk for viewing native birds. Enjoy the extensive video collection evenings after a sunny day at the beach.
Shopping is only a mile away where grocery stores, restaurants, entertainment and specialty shops are available. Another four miles north is the beautiful Currituck Beach Lighthouse with sweeping views of the ocean and sound. Travel two miles further north to the 4X4 drive beach to see the Corolla Wild Horses. This was a perfect house for a long needed vacation. The owner of the property was really nice and easy to deal with. The house is in excellent condition and you can't ask for a better location. The neighborhood is really pretty and quaint. All the necessary items were available in every part of the house...the kitchen was better equiped then my home's, the entertainment area had plenty to keep us entertained and occupied, the patio was great for a dining/relaxing and catching that wonderful ocean breeze. I would highly recommend the house and will most likely be coming back soon.
My family and I rented Ocean Peace for a week in September, it was wonderful! Spacious, comfortable, relaxing, very clean. The location couldn't have been better for us. Centrally located with easy access to the beach, tennis courts, shops, restaurants etc. The accommodations were 5 stars, fully equipped with everything one can ask for; a spacious kitchen, lounge area, master bedroom, guest bedrooms, sun decks (perfect for lemonade a book and a kiss from the sun), plenty of parking, a hop and a skip from the beach, lots of board games and movies for a relaxing night, I love the outdoor shower under the house with a wooden path leading to one of the bedrooms. Unbeatable price for what you get. I highly recommend this rental.
