Ok i stayed here for my beach week and let me tell you the photos on here are complete lies! I would not be writing this review if it was not true. The photos show this luxury home in perfect condition and when we arrived thats what we were expecting, it did not look like this. There was trash everywhere in the home and outside.Two of the toliets did not flush which we only found out when it was too late! The pool was not filled or clean when we got there and was not useable until our third day there. The hot tub not working when we arrived and when they did fix it, it broke on us later. The refrigator did not keep our food cold in fact a lot of our food went to waste because of that. The kitchen filled with ants and the oven did not work. We could not BBQ because the grill was also not working. There was no internet or cable in the home until days later and the thing that absolutly killed our week: there was no AC during the entire stay. We woke up covered in sweat and dying of dehydration and of course nothing cold to drink because of the frig. During our whole week we tried contacting the owners who of course were nowhere to be found and to this day has not returned our calls. Final words if your thinking of staying here: DONT!
This was by far the WORST place I have ever stayed at on vacation. I would recommend sleeping in your car before thinking of this place because your car has working air conditioning! Aside from the pool not even filled until the third day of my stay there, so many of the promised features were not available. The hot tub was broken, two of the three a/c units were broken, and the upstairs refrigerator was broken causing all refrigerated groceries to spoil. Waking up on vacation to chunky milk is absolutely disgusting. So without a working pool, jacuzzi, hot tub, outdoor shower, refrigerator, and oven there was also no cable or internet access either. There was an issue with the plumbing as well, so flushing the toilet was even a problem! The door knobs were falling off and one of the bathroom doors wouldn't shut. The house was so hot the whole week because of the broken a/c. WHO DOESN'T HAVE A/C AT THE BEACH in 80-90 degree weather?!?! During the whole vacation there were workers coming in and out of the house. They painted the downstairs bathroom the first day we were there and if anyone has ever painted a room before, you should know it stinks! Then the cable and internet people came later in the week. Throughout the whole week, the workers kept coming back to try to fix all the other broken things. It would've been nice to use the garage, but apparently that is where the owner stores their broken down car and other things. In conclusion, the oven was never fixed as well as the refrigerator, causing us to eat out a lot. This place was already expensive to begin with, but now our vacation savings were being used towards eating out thanks to the broken appliances. Apparently the owner waited until we got there to start fixing up the place. The whole week we stayed there we were unable to reach them. It's very frustrating to feel taken like we were taken advantage of and the false advertisement is not appreciated . Along with the owner, the Realtor was no help to us at all. So thank you for allowing me to feel ripped off, making false promises of basic amenities, and ruining my vacation.
