It is very private so those kids can run and play and you don;'t have to worry that neighbors will complain. It is also located near the Griffin Island Marina Loading Ramp for the boat lovers which is also accessable all year so even tho your dock does not float all year you can get in the water and anchor your boat just below the cabin. so you winter time fisherman this is perfect for you and after you have caught those fish you can grill them and site in front of the woodburning fireplace to tell your tall tales. The Old Fishin hole sits right where one of the best fishing holes on Douglas Lake is according to the local fisherman.
