So, you can come to Maine and do everything - or - you can come to Maine and enjoy doing absolutely nothing at all except relax.

Lincoln, ME has a very rich history of its own. The property is only 7 miles (12 minutes) from town. Lincoln has everything you will need as far as food, fuel, sundries, craft shopping, etc. Rafting/canoing/kayaking: The lake itself is actually three connected lakes. You couldn't possibly paddle the whole area. Less than 3 miles away is the Penobscot River. The Penobscot is absolutely breathtaking by boat/canoe/kayak. If you are looking for faster water, a short drive north puts you right in the middle of the action. Fishermen: The lake is serene and filled with largemouth and smallmouth bass for the sportsman. This has been a catch and release only lake for over 25 years. The Penobscot River (3 miles away), particularly this stretch of Penobscot River, was featured in BassMaster Magazine as quite possibly the best smallmouth fishing in the country.
