Casa Orquidias is brand new to the rental market and is in a perfect location which is less than 2 blocks from the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The house is located a little off the street, so parking is inside the lot with privacy and there is a pretty good size backyard filled with Mangoes, which unfortunately are not in season during the winter months, but it gives a nice shady area to hang out in and relax or read a book or sip on a cool drink. There are roosters and chickens, as there is everywhere in Esperanza, yet it is also a part of the charm. The inside has been reconstructed to add on a dining room and redo the kitchen to add on a bar area which shares the floor plan with the living room and front porch for an area about 700 sq ft. The bedrooms and bathroom, which have also been redone, are on a little bit of a higher level and share about an area of 400 sq ft. As completed the kitchen and bathroom have been completely redone, a new DR and front porch addition, new tile, new paint, new appliances, new towels, new linens, new kitchen supplies(dishes, glasses, utensils, etc), new beach items(chairs, towels, cooler), soon to be landscaping, and even new electrical wiring and plumbing. Some of the amenities include beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, BBQ, hammock, fully equipped kitchen, A/C in the bedrooms for your sleeping comfort, ceiling fans throughout the house to keep the breezes flowing, HI-DEF TV w/ satellite and DVD player, stereo w/I-Pod dock, guest book with travel information, book, CD and DVD library, fresh linens, Washing Machine, 5 -10 min walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops, and complimentary pick up and delivery service to the house with information and maps, and directions. If you do stay, you will be some of the first guests at the BRAND NEW Casa Orquidias, yet not our first guests to the island since I have working, on this island, in the hospitality industry for 17 years and have been renting out houses (mine, and other people's) for 6 years. We would truly help to make your vacation an enjoyable one. Casa Orquidias is located in Esperanza on the south coast which definitely is the buzzing tourist side of the island with beaches such as Sun Bay, Esperanza Beach, Media Luna, Navio, Black Sand Beach, and Playa Grande all a walkable distance so a car is optional.
