This wonderfully romantic pet friendly cabin is very attractive with hardwood floors and you'll love the use of timbers and stone that gives this cabin the perfect atmosphere... for a wonderful romantic or family mountain getaway . This cabin has many special features such as a gas log fireplace, 2 covered decks with rocking chairs and the peaceful sounds of a babbling brook nearby. After a day on the slopes or out sight seeing you can unwind in the large 6 person hot tub and look around at the mountains that surround you. The kitchen area is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, and toaster or you can prepare those steaks or hamburgers on the gas grill on the covered deck. There are 2 TV's with extended satellite so you have several movie channels to choose from or you can make use of the free DVD's from the A and W office while curling up in front of the gas log fireplace. Mother nature provides natural air conditioning in the mountains whether you are sitting out on the covered decks enjoying the peace of the mountains or relaxing in your comfortable cabin.There is a wall unit AC for summer use on the few days that are warm enough to require it. The location about a mile from the bottom of Beech Mountain is approximately 3 miles from the slopes of Ski Beech, and about 5 miles from the slopes of Sugar Mtn. It is just minutes from restaurants and shopping in Banner Elk. Fido is welcome if you make arrangements in advance. The pet policy is that one small, well behaved dog may accompany you if it is not left alone in the cabin unless crated.
