victorian-colonial house is a perfect vacation place for people of
all ages, couples or large families.Visiting Rockport and Camden for
a long weekend, taking courses for a week or two at the Photoghaphic
Workshop, or sailing to the islands and returning to the house for a
lobster dinner or for a classical music concert at the Opera House,
it is all happening there, in the middle of the beautiful nature of
Maine. The sloped lawn takes one directly to the ocean, where one
could spend hours looking at the reflected light and & beautiful
sunsets.The interior is renovated and updated, combining the charm of
the old and new. Beautifully furnished, very clean and elegantly
dressed, the living/dining room,kitchen and patio are on the main
floor, while the 2 bedrooms, the desk area and the masterbath are on
the second floor, with magnificent view from all windows. The
decorative area rugs/ berber carpets, nice antiques, down
comforters, designer linens for kitchen and bath, beautiful woodwork,
the 1860 tin ceiling, make this house a place to remember and want to
return. The Middle House sleeps four people and larger families can
also rent the large adjacent studios of the Barn for added comfort
and separate privacy.All spaces are fully furnished.The
harbor/garden view is great from all windows of the house.Large
