Listen to the sound of loons on Phillips Lake in Dedham, Maine. This newly built home is tucked into a large wooded lot with 350 feet of shoreline on a clear, spring-fed lake. The home is located in the township of Lucerne-in-Maine, so named because it reminded the early settlers of this area of Lucerne, Switzerland. The home is on a quiet dead-end road only 15 miles from Bangor. You’ll enjoy swimming in the lake, walking through the woods, or simply sitting and reading on the large front deck or on the water on a private 20ft dock where our local eagles are likely to be seen passing overhead. Our home has two bedrooms and a bathroom on the main floor, and a loft above. The main floor is an open design including the kitchen and great room. Sleeping accommodations include two double beds in private rooms and a double sofa bed in the great room. Bed linens and bath towels are included. The home is completely furnished including a washer and dryer and the kitchen is fully equipped. We, the owners, live just down the road from the rental home, and love the area. We especially enjoy our summers here but fall is spectacular and winter activities including skiing, skating and ice-fishing are at your doorstep.
