I stayed in this rental for 3 nights. The location is ideal(7 mins from downtown, only 2 blocks from Starbuck's, restaurants, grocery, etc.; and right across Lake Shore Drive from the beach/park). Be aware, the picture shown in the listing not the actual rental. This rental is on the first floor (convenient!) in an amazing vintage high rise building. Also, if you're a huge TV watcher, know that the TV's are rather small. Not a concern for me, as I appreciate walking the neighborhood and enjoying the area rather than watching TV. The unit is huge with beautiful wood floors, crown molding everywhere, luxury linens on bed, and lots of natural light! I'm a frequent visitor of Chicago, and am thrilled that I chose this alternative to my normal hotel rentals. Ideal for a quiet get-away or a work-related trip. Located on a bus route, I still preferred cab service downtown which was less than $10. Rent with confidence knowing this unit is immaculately kept, clean, extemely spacious, and elegantly tasteful. Hosts of this rental were accomodating and pleasant to deal with.
