Spend a day at the beach, have dinner overlooking the marina, then settle into our comfortable condo on the 2nd floor with a screened porch overlooking a nature area frequented by deer and heron. Living area is greatroom styled with queen sleeper/couch, two recliners, one chair and country kitchen dining area which seats six. Two bedrooms: Master has a King bed and 2nd bedroom is a (lockout) with two double beds, kitchenette and bath. Laundry closet. Located in St. James Plantation, a gated community 5 miles west of lovely Southport and the Cape Fear River. 7(+ or -) miles from Oak Island beaches/beachhouse. 45 miles from Myrtle Beach and 25 miles from the South Carolina border. Main condo and lockout unit can be rented separately. We call our location "Paradise Found" and maintain a membership so our tenants have use of the Clubs facilities. Nearby Attractions: - St. James Plantation-Marshwinds Condo near where the Cape Fear river meets the intracoastal waterway and the ocean in Southport. St. James is a gated community with four golf courses. These golf courses were designed by Nicklaus Design, Hale Irwin, Pete Dye and Tim Cate, there's a course for every skill level. Also in the plantation you will find a marina on the intracoastal waterway as well as both outdoor and indoor swimming pools. A 10 minute drive takes you to the beach and beach house.&
Our time here has gone by way too fast! We have enjoyed your condo more than we can express in words! All the comforts of home plus so many extra's! The beach chairs were so great to use. The beach passes were utilized many times over! St. James is an amazing place to say the least. Absolutely Beautiful! We enjoyed driving around the community so much.
Our family hasa stayed many places over the years. We all agree that this was one of our best vacations. Loved the provacy & quietness of the condo, so close to so many things to see & do. Long walks around St. James morning and evening found everyone to be very friendly. Found a few favorite restaurants in the area and loved the aquarium, riverwalks and battleship. We hope to come again. Carla, John & family.
